“I’m sorry” Andrew stared at me with pity. Everyone was gathered ready to hear him accept me as his mate but he was delaying that happy moment and that scared me.
“Andrew? What is it?” I asked trying to act normal but deep down I was scared.
He shook his head and said his next word. I felt like the air in my lungs stopped instantly ” I’m sorry Sophia but I need to do this. I, Andrew Sanchez reject you Sophia as my mate
Those words pierce through my heart. I st*ggered a little at the impact of his words. They came as a shock to me. I couldn’t hold the pain I was feeling.
