Since I was very young, I knew I wasn’t liked in this family. Being an omega, the offspring of an alpha, was considered a disgrace.
We were invited by the Crescent Pack to the Harvest Festival. When I was ready, Mom and Dad had already taken Abelard and Delilah into the car and were about to leave. I stood in front of the car and softly reminded them, “Mom, I’m not in the car yet.”
“Are you going too?” Mom frowned, her impatience clear. “There’s no more room in the car. You stay home to look after the house.”
