The room spins around me as I down another glass. Every word slurs but I don’t miss my bestie egging me on as I approach. a table in the VIP lounge.
“F*****g go. Rory!” I giggle to myself and almost fall flat on my her, thankfully, someone is gentlemanly enough to hold me up or I held the man down for dear life. I’m not sure which I am definitely out of my depths this night..
That’s kind of what happens when the man you’re engaged to is taught pants down, d***k in some random chick I don’t bother to see her face.
David didn’t have the decency to cut off our engagement before deciding to betray me like that, my eyes water slightly and I blame it on the burn of the alcohol in my throat that I’d drunk more than 5 minutes ago.
“His ****g loss!” I say to myself as I slump down into the seat beside my next unsuspecting victim.
I am not the kind to sleep with just about anybody but honestly I don’t care any longer.
I kept myself for David and he promised me himself too. I guess I was too blinded by love to see him for what he is.
